The crew of Matt’s Tree Service has over 40 years of combined work skills including actively climbing, advising customers of their tree care and staffing conscientious arborists in the Puget Sound Area providing 24 hour tree service. Our arborist can give a tree consultation and/or hazard tree evaluation. Think of us as your Tree Surgeon or Tree Doctor.

Matt's Tree Service works advanced climbers (veterans) with multiple years of experience. We apply the type of climber to the particular application for an effective job from expert pruning to storm damage tree removal.

Matt's Tree Service also uses state of the art stump grinding equipment for fast and efficient stump removal.

We also provide wood chips or mulch for residential clients. Our lot is full of firewood for pick up or delivery. Call for pricing.

CLIMBING PRACTICES

With a large tree pruning or climbing project, our climbers use technical rigging and technical roping, a line launch technique is used and a safe line is established over or through a crotch or branch, the climber then ascends the rope. Our climbers are attached to the tree with approved safety gear. Free climbing is prohibited.

When using a crane for tree removal, climbers "riding hook" must be attached to the hook twice. In some cases, it is acceptable to rappel from the boom (below the winch cable) if the tree is unsafe to support the climber.
